Hairout Help!!! ASAP

Help!!!! ASAP I disconnected the linkage under the carb and took off the 4 screws holding the unit and it seems like it still bolted to something or glued on. Should I knock the he'll out it or I'm I missing a bolt somewhere. By the way i unscrewed the bolt above the prop also. The gear is in neutral.

Not sure what motor you have but my motors have always had another bolt under the steering tab. It is accessible once the tab is removed.

Man I'm banging the hell out of this unit and it's not coming off. Is it suppose to be in neutral or in gear?

I go neutral usually... Is it working free? Grab it like a barrel (i.e. straddling it) and start wrestling the snot out of it. It should work free and slide out..

Typically there are some deposits holding it up. The longer since it's been dropped, the more deposits.
