I was in SO. Africa with my job, but didn't get to hunt.Maybe someday! I know the locales get all the meat, but was wondering if they eat everything.A cat in Durban told me they'd eat almost anything but zebra.

We are hunting in the Kizigo game reserve, which is south of any of the gazelle's ranges. They are way up on my list too.

This trip is my wife, me, both of my brother inlaws, and my FIL. They are all going after lion, leopard, buff and plainsgame. I did a 12 day hunt with a 21 day liscence. I don't get any cats. My wife wants to concentrate on her cats and a few of the plainsgame. That is how I am getting to shoot 6 buffalo. The only animals we really wanted that Kizigo isn't good for are hippo and croc.

I'm planning a hunt for 2014 for either Maswa or Maasailand. That is when I will try for lion, leopard and elephant. I doubt I'll ever do a rhino.

Can you take any of the gazelles? Thompson and Grant's are two on my I'd LOVE to have.

Quite a few people eat zebra too. South Africa is different, because the outfitters sell most of the meat to butcheries for biltong.
