Has anybody used these?
I saw them in Academy for the first time yesterday. I've been looking for a replacement for the Wildeye Swim Shad from Storm since they went up awhile back. These don't look too bad and I'm curious how they catch fish since they're a little cheaper than the Storm at $2.99 for a package of 5. Have any of you tried these?

Ive got the chicken on a chain and plum chartreuse and they both catch fish. Blackmagic swears by the plum chartreuse for flounder but i havent caught any on them yet. They look exactly like the storm, may come from the same mold

It seems like the only thing different is the eyes, but the body does seem the exact same like you say. I'll probably pick up a pack of the bunker and maybe one of those next time I see them. They don't have them at the College Station Academy, these were at the one at 290 and 1960
I guess the eyes don't make too much of a difference..?

I think the storms eyes are less durable but a little super glue gel fixes that brfore i use them. Both are great

I bought the length I liked but for the size I thought they were too heavy...

Deep divers dont use in grassy areas or you will be cleaning the grass off that top hook every time. Thrown the storms and never had much success, now they are my casting plugs.

They sink pretty darned fast, so either use on dropoffs (not grass areas) or for things like under the lights. They work well under the lights.

i bought some of these this winter at Marburgers, they worked great. i found some different colors at Bass Pro in pearland. I smoked the trout over the winter with them. had 2 over 7lbs and 1 over 8lb on them.
chicken on a chain and black w chart tail seemed to work best. also
once i had 7 reds on 7 casts with the black/chart one. (shows how tuff they are as well) just as other posts indicate they definitely work best on drop offs. good luck with them.

The Storm lures I had were too heavy and would sink like a rock if you didn't reel the pizz out of them. Those look like they may be workable at normal speeds.
