Just announced on Fox Sports. Prez says BB's contract will not be extended or renewed when it comes up in 8/13. No reason was given, which is usally corproatespeak for it wasn't a voluntary decision. I wonder what happened.
I won't claim to know....but I highly suspect it has to do with the fact that he invested too much in the 3rd tier sports while letting football go sinfully mediocre for a school like A&M. Hiring Sherman and then refusing to fire him case in point.
Also I don't think he was ever on board the SEC decision. If you ain't with us, you know the rest...
Trying to rehab the reputation of the dept that was muddied badly when they fired Sherman over the phone. That might not have been all of it but it didnt help.
