Fished with 2-cooler (don't know his handle) today. Perfect conditions. Started the day wading and hard sand. With absolutly no bait showing we still caught 12 trout on tails. The trout would not hit a top water. The water was very fresh to the taist on the surface. At 11:00 we got back in the boat and tried some reefs.
Pulled in behind the fleet and began drifting. After a long drift the fleet began to leave except for 1 boat. I called last cast and instantly caught a fish. For the next hour and a half we caught fish to 7 lbs on tails and Maniac Mullets. Ended the day wit 2 man limit plus 10 or so.
