I know this an old post, but I have 6 Calais 200DCs. It is the only reel I use and have been using them since they came out. There is nothing else I have thrown that feels as good or casts as far. They have stood up to saltwater just fine; wading or pitching from the boat. I just haven't had any issues with them.
