time for no waders yet?

Im heading out this weekend for the first time in about a month and was wondering if the water is warm enough to leave the waders at home? im planning on hitting the West bay complex. your thoughts?

Maybe lite waders not the neoprene. Water is still cool but not cold and this weekend is supposed to be in the 80's so wet wade might be ok.

Well if you own a pair of the gulf coast wader brand you are probably used to be being wet like me

you'll be miserable when you get in and when you get out. Bring your waders IMHO

Fell in the canal the other day, wasn't too bad. I'd probably wear mine if I was going in the water on purpose just because its cool enough, 67-69 degree yesterday, that I'd get chilly after a while.

I'd probably use the waders for a few more weeks.

Probably a little to early. Not the initial water temp per se but the wind plus wet = suck.

no waders if you're staying in waist deep or shallower water. it's gonna get hot down there soon.

i waded 66 degree water in cloud covered skys one time. it sucked. fyi.
