Carcass cam - cool bobcat pics

I shot a doe this weekend and after seeing a couple 2Coolers use game cams on gut piles I decided to give it a shot with the carcass. I waited until after dark to keep the buzzards from picking it clean and then tied it in the shade of an oak mott near my pond. I was fully expecting coyotes, coons, etc. I was hoping for a bobcat, but didn't really think it would happen.

This morning on the way to my stand I shined the light over there and saw yellow/green eyes in the brush. I was thinking it could be a cat and couldn't wait to pull the pics. Sure enough all 65 pics were of bobcats. There were three separate appearances and I've been comparing all of the pics. I'm fairly certain based on the markings that it was two different cats. The last pic was taken just as I was walking up to the pond to check the camera. (BTW, yes the time is off by 1 hour. I forgot to fall-back) What is really cool is seeing that the cat(s) covered the carcass with dirt and grass which should mean they'll be back.

Seeing that the cat(s) had been there all morning helped to make sense out of how the buzzards had been acting. As I sat in my stand I could see them landing in the tops of the trees, but none went to the ground and every once in a while they'd all take off. By the time I left the stand all 100+ buzzards had left the trees. Thought that was weird until I downloaded the pics.

I went back out there and set up my best game cam with video. Hopefully I'll have some cool video next time. I also shot another big boar and tied him off to a tree on a different part of the property with a game cam set up on it. This could become a new addiction. Very cool.
