What I hate about front brakes is when your applying them especially if you use that 80% rule if you run over some unseen gravel you are going down quick.
Back in the day the old schoolers taught us that the front brake was a helping brake. Now they teach you in the class the 80 % rule and it only takes once of getting slammed to the pavement from the front brake locking the front wheel in gravel to figure out that you need to stay somewhat off the front brake.
Now the newbies....they need to park behind the bar!
