Here and there, I think I have seen 90 HP Yamaha's on the back of these BC boats. On Transport website it shows max 70 HP. Am I missing something? I would look into getting one but leaning to Shallow Sport 15' just because of HP rating.

I just picked my boat up last weekend, I have a 90 hp Tohatsu... so yes you can order a BC with a 90hp on the back.
when i first bought mine I got a 50hp Johnson on it. My boat was one of the first 10 he built. I know have a 90 tohatsu on it and man it is awesome. Thye are now rated for 90 hp motors I guess he hasn't up dated the website. When I got mine the tags said 70 hp max when I got the 90 he changed it all know are rated fot the 90 hp. Get the tohatshu motor though not the yamaha it is was better in fuel.
I went over to Marshall Marine web site. What boat would be in the same line as this baby cat? They have a 14' 16' and 18' flats and a 16' & 18' stingray. But I didn't see a key slot flush deck scooter even with a tunnel that would match up with this boat. I could be wrong?
