Flounder are running big time

Yes, especially on the south side of the channel. I fished near the Coast Guard station this afternoon and C&R'd at least 50 keepers and kept 2 bigger ones. I would say the avergae size was about 17". I witnessed a few big flounder being caught as well including a 25" 7.1 pounder.

IM sorry for the typo.FYI I use a big tank with plenty of water and aerators in my tank.I prefer using live mullet as oppossed to using mud minnows .When the piggy perch get a hold of your minnow they will tear it up quicker than a heartbeat.Why would I want to get mud minnows when you just mentioned there small this time of year.REMEMBER big mullet = big flounder.I always go catch my bait before I go fishing.When I don't catch enough I buy it.When i do catch it and have some mud minnows I use them too.I also take gulp and lures .It just depends on what they are hitting and if the piggy perch are there.
