West Galveston Bay 11-5
My friend invited me to a day of fishing and that's what it was because finding fish was tough. The water was clean where ever we went but the tide was going out most the day or at least till we decided it was time to leave. As bad as the wind was the tide still moved us in its' direction and that was with out a drift sock. We ended up on south shoreline, no birds anywhere where we went all day and we used TTK eels and live shrimp to scrape up about 6 specks to what I guess 3lbs and one red 24'' long. For those looking for those magnum sandtrout all you have to do is find 7 ft of water and throw shrimp on the bottom and sink your boat with them. I also saw another sea turtle, I don't ever recall seeing so many turtles in the bay. I'll post a couple of pics of what few fish we caught if I get a chance and if this thing will let me add to my own post.
