Fayette County report 10-18-09

Fished today with Hardin Camp and two sons, 4 year old Cayden and 7 year old Case from Round Rock. Those boys never said they wanted to go home, they are fisherboys for sure.

Had not been to Fayette in about 10 days. From all reports the bite at Fayette has been pretty slow. I felt lucky that we put 27 nice fish in the cooler that made 4 gallons of fillets.

Fish were in 5 foot water, caught under cork using Sureshot pucnh bait. Parking lot was full, lots of bass fishermen out today, as well as three of my prior customers that were catfishing.

Nice haul, I don't how you do it, it just shows that you are the best. We managed a couple but that was it. Those must have some nice size cats to fill two boxes with only 27. Again WTG Obiewan!

Good job there Weldon, Must have been windy, Hope the bite gets better on fayette, You can find them anyway. The blues are biting good on Conroe now.

Looks like a good weekend is coming up might have to make a run to the lake and check it out!!!
