Arroyo City 5/3
Alex3 and I Fished with my brothers out of the Arroyo on Saturday 5/3. Ended the day with nine trout to 25", a 26" red and a fat flounder. Most fish caught North of Green Island and in the Saucer on Brown Lures (devils in dark colors), Gulp!(new penny) worked under a mauler and early morning topwaters.
Made for a great day on the water with good company. Brother has pics on his phone; will try to post them up.

We ended up coming in at about 2:45 that day. Were you out there? There were plenty of boats on the water.

How does that TranCat perform in all of that skinny stuff down there? I am thinking about up grading to the 21 cat for my next boat.

rat race,
I'm really happy with the Tran. It'll run with the best of them in the skinny stuff (hole shot is really good as well) and does pretty good with the chop. I have a buddy of mine that has gone on a few trips with me; well this weekend he went with another friend of ours in his boat and mentioned how nice the Tran runs... I won't mention manufacturer name or anything...
Java,
There was a ton of boats. We were on a house on the Arroyo and the boat ramp was insane at the County Park as we passed by...

Thanks fellas... I'll be out there this weekend and I'll also be fighting the crowds out there on Memorial Day weekend as well. I hope to put my 3 yr old son Ryan on his first keeper... You all be safe!
