Alumacraft 2072 tunnel hull help

Anyone have experience with this boat?

Looking around for a center console tunnel hull and this one seems interesting. Curious how shallow can you actually run this one, if you run a 120 hp on it. Hearing 8-10" with a jack plate and get up in about 16". Also curious if you would take this one out a couple miles past the jetties. Also wondering if you find it too big to hunt out of.

Seems plenty big enough to comfortably take kids on it out in the bay with no fear of incident yet small enough to run shallow and hunt out of. Thoughts or other ideas of other boats that would work well? Here is a pic of one I'm looking at.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337519625.243652.jpg

had an 18ft, if there is a 1ft chop it will beat your teeth out, hard to back, I replaced it with a 12 degree v, with a jp, only about 4-6 inches diff in the run level
