Info ?

Any of ya'll know if there is a Department to call (county or state )that can be called to report a blockage of Water Hyacinth's packed up against a bridge blocking navagation up Peyton Creek in Matagorda County ?

The bridge is the Salwater boundary line and we cant get up river to legally run trot lines or throw jugs.

I was hopeing the latest flood cleared them out but it only helped a lil and mostly pushed them further under the bridge.

Any info would be Greatly appreciated !

Thanks

Depending on where you live, usually the County Flood Control District.

That area is always fighting the hyacinths. I dont know that there is anything that they can or will do, curious as to what you find out though.

Might also try the commissioner for that precinct.
