Seeking

[Seeker]

You know, humans naturally do not seek God on their own. He finds us. He chooses us for what ever reason. Go back and think about it. How many of us was just looking for a personal savior for no reason? I bet most of us found him in our darkest moments. I bet you did not win the lottery one day, feel moved by the spirit, hit your knees and ask for forgiveness. Have you ever thought about it?

God told Moses,

"I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose."

That is pretty powerful.

I feel blessed and humbled that I was chosen. I thank God everyday for the things he has shown and taught me. I would have never seeked his face on my own. Just goes to show, you can run but you can't hide.. he will find you.. he will draw you closer.. so close... it will change your life..

That is so true Seeker. I was in a very difficult situation and felt like there was no way out. I could not make things right on my own but I always knew that God could do anything. My parents used to take me to church when I was in school but when I left home I went my own way. Sure enough, when I got right with God, he did a miracle in me and my big problem seemed so small. That was 13 years ago and I am so grateful that God chose me even though I didn't deserve it.
