Our new Savage Rods are fantastic

This started out as an early birthday present to my wife. Charlotte is all of 4'11" and has a hard time with factory rods because her arms are too short to grab the rod above the reel when fighting a fish. So Don fixed her up with a shortened rod butt, and did a beautiful job with pink/purple wraps and topped it with a custom color purple Avet LX 2-speed. Da_ _! I'm having a birthday this year too, and I need something to even the odds when trying to winch out those rig dwellers! So order no. 2 went to Don and I got a heavier rod, roller guides, silver/purple wraps and an Avet EXW 30 in purple. Chad at MC Saltwater got us 65# and 150# HiSeas braid, and now we are ready to rock. Look out fish, here we come! Thanks again Don, you do beautiful work!
