AC in SA

enough is enough!

I'm calling someone on Monday.

We closed in the garage and added a MB/B, and utility room last year. We added a central unit, (can't remember the tonnage) that was more than enough for the extra square footage, however it's not working properly. It doesn't work right. One side of the house feels normal yet the new side feels humid and the AC run consistently. I've had freon added to no avail. Please send me a message if you are a 2Cool AC guy. I'll pay you, take you fishing, hunting, whatever. I just need to get this fix.
It feel like a vacuum sensation when I open the door on the addition, if that helps.

Mont, man I wish you lived in SA.

It sounds like the return air on the new unit is too small or wrong location. When you say added does this mean you have 2 units now?

Also the garage is not insulated when its not air conditioned. Did the builders insulate the walls and attic?

When you say more than enough tonage. It's also not good to over AC a house

Work

Sorry I was no help and had only questions.

He has a cool website, also the door to the new addition need at leist 1/2 inch air gap and that will help with the suction problem. Let us know what you find and have. I like to see how far off base I was.
