CFJTEX you heading to Mexico this weekend? It's been at least 2-3 weeks since you've been down, right? Beside's Grant's, any big deer popped?

I'm heading to my place early Friday but need to stop in Corpus to deliver product & hope to make it in time for an evening hunt. Worse case I drive around & drink a couple of cold beers until sunset..... I talked with Uncle Tom yesterday & he said this little cold snap has really stirred things up down there & that he's seeing better bucks roaming around, should be interesting....

I probably won't make it back to the El Seco until the weekend before Christmas. Have a big party this weekend and i'm the cook. Taking the boys to the hill country the 11th and 12th gonna try to get Walker his 1st. Seen anything big at your place? It's going to be hard to top last year, so you need some drop tines.

Haven't really seen any "big dogs" roaming around yet but the rut is just about to break loose. The helicopter boys saw a monster up on Juisache Hill which is near the River Oaks Stand so I think I'll set up camp in that area for a while. I don't think I'll pop a big one this year & just manage the herd, it's someone else's turn to put the hammer down. However if a 200 pops its head out that's another story. It might be more exciting to find a big boy & try & get Kenneth on him.
