How's the hunting season coming along for everyone? We started off really slow with hot weather & a ton of food for the deer after all the rain that fell throughout 2010. In any case we're moving into December & the bucks seem to be coming out of the brush a little better & it's been reported that more fights are being seen. I'm heading down South this weekend to check it out & clank the horns together. I looked at the weather & it appears the weather might start to turn a little warm so there's not telling what I might expect. Our rut doesn't start hard for a couple of more weeks but I've noticed over the last 20 years that it can start as early as Thanksgiving or as late as a week before Christmas. I do notice there is a ton more activity during cold weather & little to no moon. In any case have a safe hunt this weekend.
