Started out trying to find the reds I had caught earier in the week with only a couple rats. Made a move to... Today Capt. Mullet and I did some scouting around trying to find new patterns. With the cool weather it felt like a fall day. Wind was Se 12-16 all day making for nice drifting conditions. Started out trying to find the reds I had caught earier in the week with only a couple rats. Made a move to shell in 4-6 ft of water and was able to find nice trout picking on a school of mullet. Caught 5 or 6 out of that group and left them biting to find differnt schools. We were able to find a total of 3 different schools of trout today most in the 18-19'' range with a few over 20''. Big trout of the day was 22''. Since we had 3 reds mixed in with the trout by mid day we went to target reds only to find 1 nice keeper and 10-12 more rats.


Over all was nice to get out and catch some fish for a fish fry.


If anyone wants to get out over the weekend I have some openings.
