Water temps at Ker in Va are variable from 60-63. Generally that's too warm for the flatties to be done for the year yet for some reason they are acting like the water temp is 45. Weekend before last, we just ripped them up....had sore arms multiple bigguns (all Kiss & Release). Then one week later, we did OK but not great (34 high) BUT here is the rub....some of prettier ones are already in bed...they came out with mud all over them. This weekend was tougher still but they're not down for the count yet. The day deal is "writing on the wall" here too but due to the temps I'm gonna hang in a week or two longer on the flatties....jfo

Good Looking Fish Man.the Water Temp Here Is High 60's Low 70's,they're Still Pretty Active Out On The Creek And River Edges,anwhere From 20' To 40' .these Cool Snaps Are Going To Make Them Sleepy Though ,i Agree. But One Of The Biggest Flatheads I Ever Caught Was In Dec. Keep Me Informed ,.
