East Bernard Brahmas vs. Industrial Cobras

NOTES: East Bernard (9-0) and Industrial (7-3) meet for the first time since 2003. Industrial won that game 30-6. East Bernard won the District 27-2A championship, is the top seed and is having its best season since it finished the regular season at 10-0 in 1984. Industrial beat Rice Consolidated 27-19 to finish tied for second in District 28-2A and is the second seed. Industrial advanced to the Division I quarterfinals last season. East Bernard is making its third consecutive playoff appearance and is seeking its first postseason win since 1999. East Bernard has scored a minimum of four touchdowns in every game. Industrial has allowed more than one touchdown in two of its last six games. East Bernard's Derrick Wilson has rushed for 1,355 yards and 17 touchdowns and has returned a kickoff for a touchdown. Industrial's Luke Gray, Trevor Pesek and Mason Schoonover have combined to rush for 2,414 yards and 22 touchdowns, and Schoonover has passed for 859 yards and 10 touchdowns. The winner will play the Rogers-Somerville winner in the area round.
