View Full Version : Rockets And Chicago!
For the pas couple of years the rocket have had one major problem. And thats finishing ( 4th quarter ). And if you can't finish games you will not win many games. Reminds me of the dallas mav in the finals last year. They had two problems. One was finishing games (4th quarter). And the other was dwayne wade.

You forgot the third problem, they are the mavs. When have they ever finished anything? I was at the game tonite and as was the problem with the Spurs they got ice cold in the forth. Yao could not make a shot in the 4th. Ben Gordon was lights out in the 4th. 6-3 I'll take it.

If Yao ever learns to step up like Hakeem used to they will be "UNBEATABLE"! Took Hakeem awhile to learn that killer instinct also.

It is hard to believe it is the same team out there that plays so well for 2.9 quarters, but forgets how to play in the last 1.1 quarters of the game. I really hope they can reverse this trend. Talent wise, this is the best Rox team in a long while. It is too bad that the Spurs and Mavericks are still at the top.

well i dont know how you can say it is to bad the spurs are there but the mavs are not at the top. rockets are higher in the conference then the mavs are. although if they continue to play the way they are they will not be.there is no reason the game should have ended like it did last night except maybe JVG is to stuborn. if he would suck up his pride and let bonzi off the hook for what ever he did (noone really knows) then he could contribute. not in slaying shape come on, the man has been playing BB for heis entire life and you say he cant play for 10 minutes i mean really. there are guys with alot worse shape then bonzi wells. JVG is just mad at him for something. looks like bonzi should not have taken that 2 million from the rockets and should have taken the 20 million from the kings.

The Mavs will be there.
I am starting to think that Bonzi will not play for the Rockets this year.

atleast he only signed a 1 yr deal.
he only signed here for 1 year so he could get on a team in hopes of a bigger contract next season with someone, that is why he held out with the kings so he could get something bigger and look at how that wored out.
i am sooo tired of all these jack***'s who dont like the teams they are on so they just dont play or they sandbag (t-mac admited to doing that a couple times) like barron davis who was "hurt" when he was on the N.O. team and then got traded to goldenstate and bam "wow i feel pretty good" same thing with alonzo morning, "i am not over my sergery, woops im a heat player now i feel pretty good", vince carter did the samething over at toronto, darn spoild brats.
i would agree bonzi, if he does get any time will be later in the year where he might do well if he can get minutes but just enough to try to get a big contract.

I just think that Bonzi is a surley guy by nature. Van Gundy is pretty stubborn too, and does not suffer knuckleheads. At this point, Wells in a Rocket uni does not sound like a good fit at all.
I look forward to seeing Spanoulis in the rotation.
Bonzi wells is a very good ball player, and he hustles in the paint. The problem is that bonzi and his agent, turn down a 30 million dollar plus contract with the kings hoping for a better offer. That offer never came. so now he plays for 1 or 2 million for one year with the rockets. And if he has a chance for a big deal he had better get in shape and start playing ball, because the european players demand is rising and causing the american players to have to get there stuff togather....
And yao will never be like the dream.

Yao and the Dream are differant players. I really like Yao's game. He is a very good player and is only getting better. The only question is just how much more he will improve. The talent and skills are there for sure.
Bonzi is a very good player and is talented enough to help the Rox be a serious factor in the playoffs. That contract situation has him in a very bad mood and it looks bad for him and the Rox at this point.
The player they are really missing is Chuck Hayes. He has missed the last 2 games and it shows. He is not a star player, but he does the dirty work, is a very good rebounder and a good garbage man around the hoop. He fits in perfectly with the team and has really been missed.

Right on MITB @ Hayes. He is JYD Mario Elie all over again.
