i will be there tonight. i gotta go spurs.
i will be sitting 5 rows up on the visitors side in line with the bench (not behind it) and right next to the rail where the cheerleaders stand.

spurs 103 rockets 92.
the only question mark is yao, if he is hot they will be tough if he is slowed or stopped they are done. and TD can stop him and elson is up and coming as a defender also.

goin to be a good game BETWEEN THE 2 BEST TEAMS IN TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO SPURS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Timmy better do a better job than Shaq did..... Yao is going to have a breakout season.

Timmy better do a better job than Shaq did..... Yao is going to have a breakout season.I thought Yao had a breakout season last year, but it went largely unnoticed because the Rockets weren't that good, then he got hurt the last month with a broken foot. With a much-improved team, though, he should get national attention as a dominant big man.

The best thing about the Rockets this season so far is that they have been winning with McGrady looking terrible. Shane Battier has been a big reason for that, too. He's another offensive option, both inside and out, and plays very good defense. And for some reason Rafer Alston looks like a totally different player than last year. I mean, he actually looks like a point guard, and a good player. I hated his play last year.

Prediction: Rockets 85 - Spurs 82

yeah looks like it is going to be a tough night for all 3 texas teams with rockets-spurs and dallas-chicago.

yao had abreak out season after the allstar break until the foot break (alot of breaking going on like we are in rush hour traffic or something) before the allstar break he was not good at all.

in shaq's defence he had just gotten back from a leg injury and then again , HE IS GETTING OLD and is still over weight. if yao can keep it up he will be a good player but i dont know how well he can hold on to his new found game.

t-mac is playing so so at best, but atleast he is dishing the ball. i just dont see them playing this well all season though.

Ok, save this prediction for ammo against me.....

If(when) the Rockets make the playoffs this year.....Yao is league MVP..... How 'bout that!!

It will be nice to see if the Rockets can compete this year with some of the better teams in the west...it's been a long time since they've been legit.

i dont think yao will make it as MVP, if you notice the trends, the MVP tends to be the ONE GUY that can make things happen, ala steve nash or TD before tony and manu got it together.
yao has T- mac and that hurts his mvp chances
you never know though. that would be interesting, a chinese MVP and the korean guy loves basketball whats the world coming to? what next mexican refs?

lmao

We will see.... Bold prediction but completely possible. You rarely hear anyone on sports radio disagree anymore about who the best center is in the league...players will say the same thing.... It's Yao. I think Tmac is and will continue to realize his road to a championship will go through Yao.

Good game so far. Mt. Mutumbo showed Duncan how they roll in Africa. Not bad for a 40 year old. Man Parker is smooooth with that runner.

Yeah... Parker needs a good old Mutombo horse-collar on that move. He won't want to float in another after that... Yao is too gentlemanly in the paint...LOL

I was sitting there thinking about how bad the Spurs looked and then they go on a tear. I though the Rockets had that win pretty much locked up, but the Spurs showed that they really are that good. They looked terrible in the first half and most of the third quarter, but they made some adjustments and took the Rockets off their gameplan. I though the Rockets were good, but the Spurs are going to be a force if they can come from 19 down in the 3rd and pull away to what wound up not even being a contest. My hat's off to them.

Go Rockets, though.

well i was at the game up nice and close, it was funny because the spurs where down like 15 in the 3rd and i told my wife "im gonna go get a couple beers, you watch they will come back while im gone" andi come back right at the end of the 3rd and they were only down by 4. moral of that story is, i guess i need to drink more???

it was a great game and listening to all those rockets fans scream after every shot and then seeing them all leave early just as quiet at a mouse was well worth the ticket prices.

all this talk about motombo, didnt you guys see duncan just jump up and snatch the ball right out of yao's hands. anyone can knock a shot of course but a real defender gets the ball and blocks the shot all in one motion.

and tony will never stop with the tear drop floater no mater who hits him.

GO SPURS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was a big meltdown by the rockets. I saw that they were up by almost 20 in the 3rd went to do somethings and come back and the spurs are in the middle of their 28-4 run or whatever it was. I think I heard Bill Worrell say that the spurs outscored the rockets 41-16 at some point during the 2nd half. Say what you want about Mutombo but he is a very important player to the rockets b/c the most important thing you can have in a back up center is one that can play defense, especially when you have McGrady as one of your primary scorers.

ha i didnt think asking for green would actually work lol i am trying to get over 15,000 almost there
yeah she would believe that one.
what was really funny was this guy who was sitting behind me, and the rockets where tied in the 4th and alston shot a 3 and it looked good, when he counted before they hatched and it didnt go in. this guy was standing up and yelling HAAAAA YES!!!!!!!!! and then it missed, they never got back to leading and he left early. i just looked at him with a big grin on my face after that miss and he never made another sound all night lol awesome.
