All right, I know that nobody here gives a rat's patoot about USC, but there's a real possiblity that USC could win the right to be exterminated by Ohio State in the BCS championship game if they can survive Cal and Notre Dame.
If Ohio State and USC square off in the BCS championship game, who are you going to root for?

I have to root against those elitist USC "Trojans." Just can't help myself. They are so darn smug!

Hey, USC is the last bastion of Capitalism in the entire state of California. I particularly enjoy it when they stomp the Socialists of UCLA and Cal.

I wouldn't root for either team. I would probably root heavier against USC though.

Let's hope they get knocked off by one of them.

USC will lose at least 1 of the remaining 2, probably better than a 70% chance of losing both. I don't think UT will win out either. Although I believe they are the stronger team I also believe the Aggies are fired up and due for something to go their way. Florida will more than likely lose at least 1 more which would leave the worthy 1 loss teams of: Ohio St or Michigan, Arkansas, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin. With the exception of Arkansas, all of whom have lost to the #1 or #2 teams. There is a very good chance we could get to see Ohio St vs Michigan II. The picture may be a little clearer after Saturday..... or not. One thing is for sure, there is some exciting college football remaining to be played. To answer the question, Ohio State Buckeyes all the way whoever and whenever they play.

After Cal beats USC, and Notre Dame loses to USC, and Florida loses the SEC title game, we will watch Rutgers line up and run the ball down the throats of Ohio State. We will also see Boise State get an at large bid to a BCS game playing against either Texas or OU since they are the bottom dwellers in the BCS conferences right now.

Say it ain't so, Valkyrie. It's the end of the world as we know it. Dogs and cats will be living together soon.

I may give up Gin if Rutgers finds a way to win the National Title.

Rutgers in an upset - why the hell not? We've seen a few upsets this year.

Yep, USC vs Notre Dame is definitely a playoff game in terms of national championships. I would like to see USC play Ohio State this year so maybe it will happen.

Explain this to me. Michigan beats Notre Dame 47-21 at Notre Dame and there only loss is to the #1 team on the road and they get jumped by USC who has a loss to an unranked Organ State team and beat Notre Dame 44-24 at home, but they jump Michigan. With the stats being what they are shouldn't Michigan get another chance?

USC totally dominated Arkansas, beat Nebraska, and won the PAC-10 with notwithstanding that OreganState brainfart. Personally I think USC can beat both Mich and Ohio State. But what would I know, I eat mercury laden fish and it has melted my brain. Besides, if you go pull up both teams schedules, Mich has 3 non-conference cup cakes while USC plays people like Neb and Ark. They deserve a shot since Mich already blew theirs.

Yep, USC choked like Texas, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Neb, and Rutgers. Biggest choker season for choking I can remember.
