Can you believe, 28-27!!!! I am not a big A&M fan, but since my son is in graduate school there and my daughter in law graduated from Vet school I guess its ok to root for them.
Fellas, I darn sure thought the Aggies had the upset, what a collapse!

The Aggies seem to be on the bad side of bad luck and the "Force" has not been with them. That was three last minute wins for the visitors at Kyle Field. Amazing, the ying-yang fortune thing has to be nearing a turnaround for the Aggies. But I'll have to pull for the 'Horns on T-giving weekend, can't stand the idea of OU winning the B-12 South.

After we scored the last touchdown I my buddy and I said that their was too much time left on the clock. After 4 years here I have learned never to call the game over untill the clock hits :00 cause I have been upset way too many times at the end.

It's a shame really. With the TU loss, T day + 1 would have had some real meaning.
Again I put this one on the coaching. They again had the ball on the 3 and tried to pass it in with the same result as last week... a field goal. It was earlier in the game this time, but those 4 points would have won them the game.
Again they put the responsibility on the Defense with the game on the line. The Ag defense is improving and they stepped up and played hard, but this is not a top 5 defense. There are too many holes for good teams to exploit.
You win a game like this by being agressive on offense at the end. Look at K-State. They passed on 3rd and 4 to get a 1st down and ice the game. It was an agressive play and it payed off. OU last week went for it on 4th and 1 to do the same thing.
We are the Fighting Texas Aggies, not the Conservative Texas Aggies.
Despite all the good he has done, if that's the way Fran is going to manage close games, then he needs to go. That just isn't going to do it in the Big 12.

Yeah it's hard to rely on the defense when you have Jason Jack, Misi Tupe, and Red Bryant all out with injuries.

Yep, Go Owls...Go Frogs
Gottago, despite each of the plays being blamed on bad coaching, we intercepted the ball with 2:30 left and found ourselves at their 30 yard line...1st and 10. This one was on the players and youthful mistakes.
I don't have a real problem with this 3rd down call. We called a pass. This is not conservative. The play called and our QB put the football right into the hands of one of our 5-star recruits in the endzone, Martellus Bennett. Bennett was the top recruit in the State of Texas two years ago. If he can't make that grab, woe is me. Fran made an excellent call, and the team executed perfectly until then. Woe is me.
(You knew I was coming in here, right? :slimer: )

(You knew I was coming in here, right? :slimer: )I was wondering where you were. You and I are just going to have to agree to disagree on the Aggie coaching situation.
I'm done griping about it for this game though.
Now let's BTH out of TU!

That was a rough one to watch, it took Kristen 4 hours to calm down.
Funny thing about A&M's season is that they are combined about 3 football minutes away from being 11-0 or 5-6. I guess they should be glad that Army broke down in the last drive and that OSU collapsed in the end too.

I was at the aggie game and couldn't believe what I saw. It sure was a great second half and the crowd as usual gave 110% support the whole game.
Jeff
