Man I am not happy. Tech played a great game tonight in Norman, OU is like 48 and 2 at home. I was super impressed by Tech's offensive line, one coverage sack I believe. I had the pleasure of watching the game with two OU fans,lol! We had a good time, but I was absolutely sickened by the calls, Tech intercepts the ball, but there is a "ticky tack" call for roughing the kicker. This is what the annoncers called it, not me. Facemask on 3rd and long? Couldn't see it on replay but 15 yards and first down. Offensive pass interference in the red zone with 3 minutes to go, thats a shocker. IMO there were too many calls at crucial times to keep OU moving the ball. I'm not just whinning, the OU guys I was with agreed with me, but loved to rub it in during and after.
My buddies even agreed, with smiles of course, that we as Tech fans got hosed on a bunch of calls that cost us the game. But at least Texas and OU will have a shot at being able to make the big twelve thier BCS bowl money.
I was impressed with the way Tech played, I'm really looking forward to next year, we will at least have a year under our skill players belts. The bad part is that we will lose two of our O linemen to the NFL, and Keyunta Dawson on the D line to the NFL as well. We all know that you have to have the solid O line to win, just ask the Texans!LOL!
And to you A&M guys, Tech didn't choke, they played a hell of a game. A&M let Nebraska drive on them with less than 2 minutes to play after being the better team in the 2nd half. Not even similar to Tech OU. A&M should have won that game. You guys have too much talent, Francione(or however you spell it) needs to go. A new coach and you guys could be 11-1 or 10-2 every year.
