I said that after the Ohio State game and heard nothing but...."one of our best backs was out...someone was hurt etc...Tech proved that as well with giving up 519 passing yds. That is a huge weakness if someone is capable of exploiting it...I guess they should have not been thinking about the polls and how we can play for the national championship again instead of the next three games...Capt. and why is that because he is giving those guys a little dose of their own medicine now. Paybacks are Hell aren't they. There are a couple of horn fans on here that stuck their nose in every A&M thread there was this year and tried to turn that knife in our back a little more just for fun. They better hope and pray that the Ags don't do something dumb like go to Austin and win or it will be a long offseason for them.

I know I know we don't stand a chance but the way I look at it we have nothing to lose and everything to gain in this game now.

I can hear BEVO now..."we lost because Colt wasn't in the game...not having colt mccoy in the game certainly hurt us, but our guys just didn't show up to play last night. even with jevan snead with all of his inexperience playing almost the whole game, we're a better team than that. we're supposed to be a powerhouse in ncaa football, but it didn't show last night. as i said earlier, ksu earned that win.

Had the defense not given up over 300 yards in the air, that game would have been win-able, even without Colt. I've been concerned about our pass defense all season. Giving up 300 yds. here.......400 yds. there.........Ya can't give up that kind of yardage and expect it not to catch up with you eventually.

Welp, we have the off-season to get the defensive secondary in order, and Colt will only get better and smarter. He's going to give some Heisman hopefulls a run for it next season.

But, until then, we'll play in one of the many, lowly "Dog Butt Bowls". Maybe we can play U of H in Robertson Stadium, and get channel 55 to cover it.:biggrin:

Yall have always been respectful and reasonable in both the wins and the losses to both the ags and the horns. My comments were directed to the two mentioned that ALWAYS have to jump in on the Aggie bashing. Therefore it's fair game for those in my opinion. What comes around goes around. Ya'll were a DOMINATING TEAM last year...this year you are not and most of my horn friends have realized that there could have been very easily 2 more losses. I have noticed that someone started a special thread for those...we'll see if they make excuses or admit to just getting beat for a change. Good luck on Tday and if they Ags hold to form, this one should come down to the wire and make for a really good football game.

Spots, thanks...while I enjoy giving a good ribbin, and don't mind receiving one, there is a line that doesn't need to be crossed. I said coming into this year we would be a good team, not a great team and thus far we have outplayed my expectations. I have no doubt that the Turkey day games is going to be a good one. WOW.. Gotta a little testy in here. Especially coming from aggy who also lost yesterday...

We stunk yesterday. It wasn't Colt's fault (like someone eluded to) or Jevan's.. I put that loss on the defensive seconday and special teams. Kudos goes to the teams hearts.. They didn't give up, and I like that!

I guess the BIG 12 all time winning streak had to come to an end at some point. On T+1 we'll just start a new one :)

All things considered, we are still having a better season than I thought coming in to the year and with a chance to win the Big 12 its that much better. The thing that hurts the most is I honestly thought we should of been able to spank K-state, but this is what makes college football so much fun.

Take a look at those 45 pts and you'll see that our special teams accounted for 14 of those. Then you have the offense which fumbled how many times? And those fumbles were within KState's 40 each time if I remember correctly. Yes the defense did give up some air miles but they were also at a disadvantage on several of those tds. It was pretty much a complete meltdown by the whole team but if I were to hang this one on one specific area it would be special teams.

i wish i could feel as good as you do about our performance saturday night. as i said earlier, we are supposed to be an ncaa powerhouse, but we surely didn't look like it against k state. we gave up too many points because our defense was pitiful, and we turned the ball over too many times. i was very disappointed.
