Just wanted to post, Port Lavaca High School Football team beat Beeville for district camps................ GO SANDCRABS!!!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't that be a great headline, "Sandcrabs Win STATE". My mom is the athletic sectary and she is working her tail off. Hey Mom, they couldn't do it with out ya. Wish I could be there..... Love ya......

coming back to seadrft I was amazed at the number of folks packed into the stadium. over 10,000 I would say. i understand they had to bring in temp bleachers. 1st winning season in many years and we are all happy for them down here. going to a local high school game is like going to a local rodeo. lots of fun!

I was at the A&M game yesterday and talking to a Cornhusker fan. He was very polite even when they were up 21 early on. He mentioned that he could not believe how big high school football was here in Texas and was surprised when I told him it was not uncommon for there to be 35-40 thousand at a high school game and that small towns would draw 10-20 thousand in playoff games. Made me proud to be a Texan
