I don't know about the announcers but there are definitely some awful things going on...

Almost all TV announcers are awful. I usually turn the sound down so I don't have to listen to them.

That color analyst was trying to tell everyone that Colt McCoy's touchdown should be overturned when he(or us)couldn't even see where the ball was!? That was kind of telling to me. Shouldn't an announcer know the rules of the instant replay?: Indisputable evidence. That was sad.

I really need to read the holding rules, not to mention what a completed pass is.

But we really should not have to rely on those calls...

There was the blatant drop and these announcers are overlooking the refs call. Why wasn't there an instant replay??

There was the blatant drop and these announcers are overlooking the refs call. Why wasn't there an instant replay??They said -- "it might have hit the gound just a little" -- Hah!

BUT -- we should not be letting it come down to that. If the 'Horns can't do better there is something wrong, and it is not at QB.

any report on colt mccoy's injury?

Charles Helm

Not sure I would use my back-up QB to run all the plays, but oh well...

We will wake up in the 2nd half.....This first half is looking awful!

I'd be surprised if we got a report before halftime. He looked ok throwing soft throws when he was still warm...... They're going to give it just as much time as they can before they make the final call, I suspect.

We'll see...... The rest of the season balances on it.

i finally saw the replay looked like a concusionIt looked like a good hit that caused a shoulder/arm spur to me... What do you guys think?

It's going to take me a while to get through that 253pg. playbook Charles. LOL. Thanks for the link.

Didn't they say it was his left arm and doesn't he throw with his right?

Charles Helm

I am hoping he did not dislocate anything -- but he did have that "bell rung" look as well. Hopefully they will get their heads togeether at the half.

Well I like the way this is going, but a lot of time left to go

Colt's done for the night. Let's hope the running game can take it down the field consistently, and the secondary can shut down the pass..... That's the keys to the game, IMO.

Texas does seem to like to spot the opposing team a touchdown or two in the first half and then smack them in the second. Sure isn't good for my heart though! LOL

I hear ya, man. Greg Davis has been so focused on establishing the running game first this season that he loses the passing game in the first half. There has to be some balance there normally, but not tonight. It's a Greg Davis game tonight. Run, run, run!!!

Are these guys awful or what?i dunno. i always turn the tv volume down and listen to the game on my walkman. those guys are pretty good, and they always tell you what formation they're in, who is split out to what side, and who is in the backfield, etc. i like that.
