Anybody been watching HANS lately? Their stock has really been beat up the last three months, and they are in the throws of an SEC investigation into their stock options program. I still see their stock at $25 as being a great deal, though. They just announced profits up 67% over 3rd quarter last year, mainly due to their Monster line of energy drinks and their new affiliation with Anhauser-Busch distributing. Their stock is off almost 50% from their highs a few months back. Anybody else bullish on this one? After losing a couple thousand dollars on them trying to play the market timing game, I got back in yesterday.

Shadman...
Cramer was slamming this stock a week ago or so on his show. Basically he said "what's the point of buying hansen drinks, if they're no different than any other product on the market"

Yeah, I read that, and Cramer is often right on the nose. However, Monster is beating out Red Bull in 8 major markets right now (including Houston and Dallas). Personally, I don't taste a whole lot off difference between Monster and Full Throttle (Coca-Cola's version), but Monster seems to be doing better than any other energy drink right now. Maybe good advertising? Maybe the name or the packaging? I don't know...

Man... when you figure out why a stock goes up or down.. PLEASE let me know!! LOL
I bought Lowes when it dipped a few days ago on Cramer's tip, then it was downgraded based on the housing market "bust" I'm about even on it now, but I thought I was going to be a few points up by now.
I know it's an elementary way to look at it... but my lowe's is just as packed now prior to the downgrading. From the way I'm looking at it, I think people will buy more home improvement items since they'll be staying in the houses instead of constantly flipping them... of course, I could be dead wrong.
sorry for the highjack by the way..,I know we were on hansen.

No problem at all. If I knew what was going to happen, I wouldn't be posting here! ;) Hansen is up about 5% today, right at where I bought it yesterday. Hopefully it trends upwards consistently for a few weeks (like I believe it will). It would be nice to be right for once in the market. :D

Hansen was not the small company I was referring to. It is a real business with numbers and information that can be easily followed.I was buying HANS for $3. Sold it all to start my biz. It has split a few times since then.

I believe they recently signed a distribution contract with Anheuser-Busch. The blue Monster is the best. Gaining access to AB's distribution channels will...?
