That was one helluva a football game! I can't believe it! Goose eggs in the 2nd half by the Rutger D! Wow! That was by far the best Thursday night football game i've ever seen!
Now we need Michigan to lose to Ohio St., I think, and here is why, Ohio St. is way ahead of Texas in the BCS right now and since its all based on percentage points I don't know if they lost that they would be behind the Horns........ Remember Auburn losing at home to an unranked Arkansas team, that didn't put Auburn behind Texas in the BCS rankings. Something to think about

Alright, where does Rutgers move up to and where does Louisville fall to??????

I would think both would still be behind Texas. What Texas needs is for Mich. to lose to Ohio St. and for Florida to lose or at least play poorly. Fl still has a goofy schedule. They have S. Carolina which with Spurrier can play spoiler. Spurrier would LOVE to beat his old alma mater. Fl also has to play the SEC title game which could be dangerous for them as well. Then Auburn also has couple of non gimmes on their schedule as well. I think Auburn is going to be the key. I don't see them losing any but any poor game they should play will definitely not help them. Texas just needs to concentrate on winning and winning decisively. Look for it to be a tight race to the Championship.

Also, the worst thing that could happen to the Horns other than losing a game is for Mich. to beat Ohio St.

It is a good day to be a Longhorn!! USC will be a team to watch as they could sneak up on strength of schedule, and Bluefin hit it on the head with florida and auburn...SEC has a playoff so somebody is going down. Remember lowly northwestern held michigan to 17 points and ohio state could get a suprise when they meet northwestern, then if michigan gets them it is all over for the buckeyes. I think if Texas wins big we could pass florida as we are only behind them by.002 points in the bcs. It will be an interesting November for sure!

texas needs to win big against ks. that will give them the the 3rd spot on both the ap and coaches. if fl wins a close one against s.carolina texas might leap frog them to 3rd in bcs. fl still has to play fl.st. at the end of the season. HOOK EM HORNS!

Hopefully Rutgers took care of the Texas vs Boise matchup! Maybe it's just me but I wasn't really excited about that possible matchup... LOL

Let's not forget that Texas has to get through TAMU and play Nebraska again. They were lucky to squeak out a win the first time against Nebraska. They are better than TAMU, but the Ags are just good enough this year that they could rise up and bite them.
Also I just saw report on ESPN trying to lay out the scenarios. For example, if Ark runs the table they have a shot a leapfrogging into the 2 spot.
There are way too many moving pieces to figure out how this is going to end up. The horns have a shot, but they are going to need a lot of help.

Defintely ready for the UT-aTm game. Should be a good one. Haven't watched aTm that much, but what I have seen, I wasn't real impressed with McGee's passing. I think they have a heck of a tight end though. Seems as though they have a very talented rushing game and Texas has a great rushing defense. Lets see where the cards fall. Would love to see a OSU-UT re-match with the maturity of McCoy.
