Bait Help

There must be plenty of catfishers in the New Orleans area that can help me. I am working on a project away from home in Belle Chasse, LA. I was told about a place to go fishing but I need to locate a spot to cast net some shad for bait. I'm staying in Harvey and will go fishing at Bayou Gauche so, anywhere in between would be great.

Man.... I can't help you in that area, but the best luck I've had netting bait anywhere has been under lights at night... but you probably already know about catching bait that way...

You may try some local bait shops ect... I would buy something and ask some questions =)
