Alamo Bowl most likely with a chance of going to the Cotton Bowl.

Cotton Bowl is possible if they pick up one more win. Otherwise, the winner of the Aggie/Neb game will go to the Holiday Bowl since they have pick #3, the Cotton has pick #2 and will take the highest ranked team after the B-12 champ is selected for a BCS bowl. I can't imagine the Aggies falling to the #4 pick Alamo unless they loose out.

I don't think we end up in the Cotton Bowl. Considering who we MIGHT meet in the Holiday Bowl, a Nebraska win doesn't look that appealing after all.

And look guys, I don't want to hear anything about how us AGs are dreaming or whatever, they are not my predictions, they are ESPN's...

Independence Bowl, where they get mauled by LSU.

C'mon Cali, do you really think we're 7th in the Big XII??? That's a pretty bold statement
While you may believe that (or worse) in your heart, our two losses in Big XII play gives us a better standing...

I'd like to see a ATM vs USC holiday bowl or a LSU vs ATM cotton bowl.

What you prefer the gallery furniture.com bowl? Or a rematch with Tenn?

I think both of the games outlined would make for interesting games.....and that cant be said for most of the bowls....there are way to many.

you don't follow college bowl alignments much obviously do you? There is no way on God's green earth can fall that far given their current records. If you had said the cotton bowl or something like that you might have some credibility.

So are you saying you do not want us to win against Nebraska for fear of playing one of the big boys in a bowl game?? How will we ever know where we stand if we do not play in those kind of games. We cannot be afraid of playing some team and getting blown out in my opinion. I hope we play the absolute best team out there possible and see where the chips fall. A lot of times high powered teams are bummed out about what "lesser" bowl game they fall to and they come out flat. Kansas State did that and so did USC against TCU several years back.

We would have everything to gain and nothing to lose because we would be expected to lose. That could make us dangerous against a lot of teams including the horns on T+1 day. Besides what is wrong with a trip to San Diego in December. Maybe if we get that bowl game some of these horn fans could give us ideas about where to stay and eat and things to do. I am not saying we will end up there, but there would be nothing wrong with that if it actually happened.

Don't get me wrong, I want to BTH Outta NU, I'm just saying I think I know how we stack up against some of the powerhouses out there... We got completely embarrased a couple of years ago by Tenn. and it didn't feel good whether they were expecting us to win or loose; it felt absolutely embarrassing. I don't want to feel like again.

Where our program is right now, I don't think we benefit by getting blown away on New Years Day...

I have a freakin weading I have to be in on the 30th in Canyon TX; I'm hopping for Cotton Bowl so I can stop in on it on my way home. I just hope the turnout is difrrent from 2 years ago; I'm still looking for my 70 dollar refund on that one.

Yeh, there about 15 of us there that year and at half time one of my good friends told me he wished we could start the game over. I told him that we were outmanned badly that day and it would not have mattered if we started over or not. Sometimes you just take your lumps like a man and move on to the next game. That being said I know we have a lot more talent and depth on the team now along with more cohesiveness. We may not win but I certainly would not mind lining up against them and see where we stand. T+1 will give us a lot better idea of where we stand. First road game against top 5 team. I still believe Oklahoma has a much better team than most believe. We all know they are really a one loss team or at least play like that.

It looks like OU to Cotton as Big 12 #2. Ags look like Alamo or Independence Big 12 #4 or #5. ESPN may have forgot Frans record against the Big 3 in the Big 12 as 1 and 12 in November.

I am just glad a&m made it this far, they can and will beat Nebraska. Not to wish my life away, but I think A&M will have a lot better team next year too.
