Ok, each week I seem to show just how inept I am at these predictions, but here goes again.

Texas plays Kansas State in Manhattan and are 17 1/2 point favorites. The defense played really well last week against OSU and only gave up 3 points. My faith is SLOWLY coming back for the defense. The offense continues looking good and McCoy keeps impressing me with his ability to make good decisions and spread the ball around. K State is pretty average(below average) this year, so Texas should win this one easily.

My prediction: UT 45 KSU 17

TAMU plays Nebraska at home and its a pick 'em. The Ags lost a close one to Blow U last weekend. I am reading and hearing a lot of b****ing about Fran and his play calling. It will be interesting to see if the Ags can keep it together and continue a good year or fold to the critcism. Nebraska has a good offense, but their defense is suspect IMO. I am sticking to my rule of picking the home team if the spread is 3 or less.

My prediction: TAMU 28 NU 21

No prediction, but hoping for two "W"s for the Texas teams in advance of the Turkey Day (plus) shootout.

Ags can beat and should beat NU. If they don't beat themselves with worry. I bet those players hate playing for the short timer of a coach tey have.

Horns should win easy.

Baylor's defense was able to man-handle K-State. There is no reason that UT can't blow them out by half time.

UT 63 K-State 10

Nebraska isn't a bad team and they can sometimes get that west coast offense thing rolling. So, I believe this will be a high scoring game if the Aggies are to prevail and they will have to have success with the option and pass for 150 yards. A close low-scoring game will go the corn-shuckers way IMO. So my prediction

A&M 45 NebShuckers 42

UT wins big and A&M takes the win in a nail biter.

I think the Texas game will be closer than others. Its a night, prime time game and Kstate will play their super bowl. They will pull out all the stops to stay in the game. I think Texas wins but its something like 24-14.

Nebraska has a strong running game and I think that and the aggies being flat will result in NU winning 17-13

Nebraska has been very vunerable against the run. My guess is that this team will rebound and give them a very good game.

Our D has not been able to play a full 4 quarters yet, but should play well enough in the second half.

No prediction this time around (I predicted we would beat OU), but expect A&M to run wild on corn (shocking, I know), and corn to pass wild on us. someone will win, 37-34.

Horns win by 24...Colt throws for 3 TD's

I hope the Aggies win a close one (by 3). I really just want a good game here in Austin after Turkey Day, it will be good for the "hype machine" as some would say.
This will be a very telling weekend for the Aggies or mainly Coach Fran...he needs this one and I hope he pulls it off. And if Colt puts up another 3+ TD game over 300 yards and the Horns win big I think we pass Louisville in the BCS.

I see the horns winning pretty easily but Z I have to disagree with ya'll passing Louisville unless they lose to Rutgers. Kstate is an unranked team and Rutgers is ranked and still no loses. If both teams win there is no way ya'll will pass them in the bcs plus Florida is still in the way and I just can't see anyway ya'll pass both teams in one week unless they both lose which is unlikely.

I am hoping and believe they will respond positvely just like they did after the tech loss. I think it will be close but I am going for the good guys 27-21.

I agree. I think there are a lot of teams that are better than Louisville, but if they win out, nobody is passing them.

LOL...I actually meant the AP poll...boy we would have to be special to jump 2 spots in the BCS. I was in the studio all day till late last night and my thinker was a bit off! Go Rutgers!Horns win by 24...Colt throws for 3 TD's

I heard Louisville now gets a whole lot of the Florida talent. They're a pretty good ball club. Too bad we wouldn't see something like this, use your own variation.

The Sips are going to get one hell of a game from A&M on T+1....but if we do not prevail:

Round 1
Louisville vs Texas
Ohio Sate or Michigan vs. Florida

Round 2
http://www.2coolfishing.com/ttmbforum/images/icons/icon14.gif Winner vs. Winner http://www.2coolfishing.com/ttmbforum/images/icons/icon14.gif

Then we would know and it sure would be fun to watch.

Edit: And best of all the t.v. journalists wouldn't spend half the airtime on the sports shows during the best part of the year debating and b&c'ing on the bcs subject.

Tarpon, if the horns show up in Lawrence, KS to play Kansas they will be in the wrong city. They play Kansas State this weekend which I assume you realize and it's just a typo.

I don't know about the other Ags, but those 8 "supposed to win" games feel better this morning after watching the Tsip game last night. I have never in my life seen a season like this one. This team has seen a LOT this year. I will bet they remain very confident group--rightly so, and that a season like this is going to be worth one hell of an intangible as they mature.

Unbelievable. If we execute the game ending field goal with 2:00 left, we would have whipped the Big XII North champs Nebraska 20 points to 0 in the 2nd half of the football game. We have owned the 2nd Half this year...just not sure how what to make of it yet. Personally, I am pleased with things.
