Houston Texans- The aggies of the NFL

David Carr is a joke and everyone but our aggie coach can see that. The guy does not have "it". I dont care how many good "stats" he puts up, but 95% of this throws are dump off low risk completions that pad the completion % but dont move the chains. He is not a leader and never will be. With Sage Rosenfels playing QB, i think the Texans would be at .500 or close. Did you see the ease at which he moved the Texans up and down the field?

The Texans should have cut Carr last year, drafted young or leinart and started fresh. The main reason I heard they didnt want to draft Young is they didnt want to rebuild but what exactly are we doing right now? 2-6?

Kubiak = Fran
Old GM Casserly = Bill Byrne (AD who gave Fran contract extension last year)
Mcnair = Aggie president who hired Bill Byrne. Dollar Bill is a tool. He couldnt beat Texas at Nebraska and things havent changed.
I keep waiting to hear the War Hymn at halftime of the Texans games (saw Bud Adams horns off?)

Why did we give Steve Mckinney a contract extension? He isnt even playing right now. I think Kubiak just wanted another aggie on the team. We might as well go get Reggie "Real Deal" Mcneal and Aaron Glenn as the Texans are a joke.

Might as well start playing for the Adrian Peterson bowl now....

I'm not talking about this season vs this season...I am talking about the Fran era versus the Texans era circa 2002....there are a lot of comparables....IE the biggest being the Texans are the joke of the NFL and David Carr/Charlie Casserly being the #1 reason for that.

None of my business really, since I don't have a dog in this fight, but I do have to say that the Texans didn't play bad football this weekend. Neither did A&M for that matter. Football is a zero-sum game; for every winner, there has to be a loser. There are plenty of teams with mediocre records that are good football teams because of tough scheduling. Vanderbilt and Northwestern come to mind. Anyway, I think that how a team plays is as important as whether they win or lose.

As long as I don't have $$$ down on the game.

I haven't heard any of Carr's teammates complain about his qbing. If Carr were such a big problem you'd definitely be hearing more 'gossip' within the Texans' camp. The truth of the matter is they ought to be apologizing to Carr for making him into a sack dummy. Everyone knows they need line help and the best qb ever couldn't do much with the line they have now. Your assertion that they go out and pay BIG bucks for some new untested hotshot is way off the mark. Leinert hasn't done squat. VY is still developing but is fast finding out that his speed skills aren't going to get him out of trouble like they have in the past. And if we went by your plan there'd be no money left to pick up any decent blockers to keep your golden boys out of the emergency room.

using your idiotic logic you would certainly understand how we could not draft Peterson since he did not play at A&M. Oh wait we did try to recruit him. Does that count?? DUDE YOU NEED SOME REAL HELP AND I AM NOT JUST TALKING ABOUT FOOTBALL HERE!!!
