OK guys, I have only talked to Bigmax so far. I wasnt at the park today but from what I understand, were working on raising the funds for the timing system. I PMed Biggy and will be PMing the rest of yall probably tomarrow.

We needed a place other than the RC forum to make plans for raising the funds for the timing system and assigning responsibility for who does what. For the Drag Racing deal, HAMDRAL.

I agreed to be the Treasurer. I will set up a free checking account with Washington Mutual Bank this week. Biggie said he would be on the account as well. For accountability. This still up for discussion. If someonelse would rather, I have no problem with that.

I handle money all the time. In one hand and out the other.

#1 is or at least we thik is a timing system. Just need to see what it would cast to build one or buy one already designed. AC has some timing slips from his racing that he will post to show what the readout needs to be or what the system needs to capture and print.

#2 location with no seams like what we have but will not get underwater for long periods at a time. Anyone have some land they aren't using that we can build a dragstrip? lay some asphalt down and run the wires and lights?

Track will become an issue! I can only think of one track owner that is building just about every track that can be built and has the money to do so.

K&M side area isn't long enough although both Randy and Dave has mentioned buy/building a timing system and run it anywhere we want. Of coarse the fee would go to them with us getting a piece of it. We did go over that a little today. Thought it would be better for us to keep it in our hands. Just need the $ to build/buy one for ourselves.

Everyone needs to keep an eye out for a nice , smooth, level, seamless , blacktopped parking lot that will be empty on Sundays. So churches are out but office building are in. We would ask permission for the use. (Do mention the grape soda application though)..

A peminent none used piece of land that would let use lay down a patch of blacktop woud be perfect.

My offroad home is K&M. Period. :D
