Bobby -- I think the first ones are very cool and unique -- 2 things I would like to see and this is certainly open for discussion by anyone else here ... I would like it to say thecatfishlounge.com somewhere -- I really like the CPR sticker you have added .. I would also like it to say We support CPR .. Thanks for your effort that is very nice of you ...

Bobby -- You are awesome .. Can you add The in the big part to make it The Catfish Lounge and make the words at the bottom larger ? After that I think we have a winner ... I just need to make sure everyone else likes it ...

I had some problems with that other one so I had to make this one. I lost the font that was on it.

Ooh, don't like that font. Also, graphic quality fell way off. Like the tree better though. What happened?

I don't like the font either I am working on finding another one now. I had to start from scratch. I will keep working on it till I get it right.

What program are you working in? PC/Mac? Maybe I can help.

If in the future, not now, you'd like YellsAtDog to help out with anything give him a holler. He's a professional artist and does not charge family.

Right now they have his left arm in a restrictive brace. When he fell and broke his wrist he reveived multiple fractures and they used pins during surgery to hold the bones together. I discovered he posted last night.

The attached JPG is the artwork he did for gofish in North Carolina. Eric duplicated the fish that is already their logo and then added to it with the permission the the original artist. Supposedly it appeared on cars at the NASCAR race.

I have Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Fireworks and several others. I am trying to learn them. I can't draw worth a da--. Most of the time I have to steal something off the net. Then put it in. I will work on it some more later. I have my sons puter all over his room. I think his harddrive has bit the dust.

Don't make apologies! You're very creative and you've shown it.

You have excellent art programs. I have those plus Adobe Illustrator which you might like to try sometime. One day, since you're already going places with your artwork you might consider getting a Macintosh computer. There are three of us here, my two sons and myself, that work exclusively on Macintosh. The Mac is designed for people in graphics. Almost all advertising departments and newspapers use Macintosh.

Keep it up Bobby. Study and experiment with your art programs. You have a gift. Please don't waste it!

I have several more too Maya, 3D Max, Rhino, and Bryce. Now if I can ever learn how to use them all. Sometimes I wished my mind would hold the info longer. By the time I figure out how to do something I done forgot what I did to do it.

I've had people tell me that in their opinion, I never forget anything... in my own perspective, it seems as though I never can remember anything IMPORTANT when I need to recall it... Don't beat yourself up over not remembering the programs... When I "learn" how to use new software, I find I can't remember it for as long as I like, so I make cheat-sheets on word.docs or notepad documents for use later... that is if I can remember where I hid them LOL...

I think you're doing fine. If it's possible to save the individual projects in a format that can be opened in another editing program, then burn it to a disk, you'll be a much happier computer user... My darling wife is a writer, and I'm always giving her gentle words of encouragement to save her work to diskette so that she won't lose everything she's toiled over in the even of a harddrive crash.. it happened to her once, and I was able to salvage everything off the harddrive (computer genius that I am ... NOT..) out of pure luck... I hooked he old harddrive to an external adapter and used a piece of software (that I can no longer remember how to use LOL) to recover eveything on the disk... lesson learned was to ALWAYS back-up anything important to me... unfortunately, my darling wife has more faith in me than I have in myself and she figures I can recover lost data again, if need be...

Your art work far exceeds anything I've done. I can barely draw a straight line with a pencil and ruler... keep trying... you're doing fine :-)

I think that the closeup of the flathead medulla caught awhile back...cartoonish in it's expression was a classic....somethin' to consider for the logo.:mpd:
