I'm not a salesman and have shunned network marketing opportunities like Amway and others as not being my style and they've always come to my attention way too late to make any serious money at it. I've just changed my mind.
My mother called me all excited about something that had done wonders for my father. He'd suffered a heart attack last year and a sextuple bypass. He went through a painful recovery and therapy and had settled into a routine where he'd get out of bed at 10ish, shuffle to the recliner, watch fox news until lunch and then sleep most of the afternoon. He was grouchy and a pain in the ***. My mother was afraid he was going to spiral down to his final days in this manner. On a recommendation from a friend she got him started taking two ounces of Monavie Active in the AM and two in the evening. After just one week the transformation was truly amazing. He was up and about early and going all day and his mood was way up.
The product is called Monavie. It's based on the Acai (Ahh-sigh-ee) berry from the Brazilian Amazon. It is the richest source of Antioxidants (fights cancer and aging) known to man at the moment. Researchers have only started to plumb the depths of this fruit's phytochemicals and their potential benefits. The most commonly reported benefits I've personally heard are increased energy, reduction of aches and pains, and improved sleep. Those I can attest to personally. There are many many more benefits attested to by people. Studies are underway and some new ones are about to be released. Here are a few links if you are interested. If you'd like to get involved and possibly make some extra cash or at least pay for your own product please get in touch with me. It's actually fun to do, it works, and people will benefit and thank you for telling them about it. Can't beat that. This stuff is huge and well known in Florida but virtually unknown in Texas.

Here's what I've learned lately that has really opened my eyes to what doctors have been saying for years. I'm not an expert so I'll apologize in advance if I don't get this perfect. But I'll be close.
Inflammation is usually a good sign that your body is fighting back against some aggravating condition. But chronic Inflammation like that found in arthritis can be detrimental and damaging in itself. Researchers have found that heart disease is directly connected to the body's inflammatory response. Here's how all of this talk about free radicals, antioxidants, and anti inflamatories ties together. Free radicals in the body scavenge electrons from otherwise healthy cells. This destabilizes the cell and can cause damage to cell DNA and a domino effect where the cell dies and other cells begin to destabilize and die or mutate and they can even turn into cancer. This happens all over the place but, one particularly important place is in the walls of blood vessels. The body's response is to send cholesterol to the side of the irritation or damage. The cholesterol can even be attacked by free radicals and more can be applied to the site. This build up of cholesterol becomes plaque and in some cases can restrict blood flow, resulting in heart attacks and stroke. I had no idea that's how this happened. That's why smoking is so bad for your heart. Smoking is mainlining free radicals that causes irritated blood vessels that respond by sheathing the irritated spots in a cholesterol bandage! So doctors are pleading with us to eat more veggies, dark fruits etc. because they contain anti-oxidants that neutralize the free radicals. The ability of a food to fight free radicals is measured by it's ORAC or Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. One problem that is becoming more apparent is that even if you eat fruits and veggies like crazy you might not be getting all the antioxidants you might have 30 years ago because of our farming practices. The produce just does not have the richness it used to have. That's why I like the idea of Monavie drink. It's off the chart with Anti-oxidants and I know that I don't have the discipline to stock my house with fruits and veggies and eat them regularly. I can drink 2 ounces in the morning and 2 at night and cover my bases for less than I spend on Starbucks each week.
Here's another important thing about inflammation and Acai. Recently anti-inflammatory medications have been pulled from the market due to deadly side effects. Most anti-inflammatory medications do have some side effects and users have to choose between mobility and quality of life now or potential complications later in life. Acai is also rich in Anthocyanins. Anthocyanins neutralize enzymes that destroy connective tissue. Their antioxidant capacity also repairs damaged protiens in the blood vessel walls. Many people report they are able to get off pain and anti-inflammatory medications by supplementing with Monavie Active.
By the way. On the cancer front: University of Florida researchers are about to release another study where they actually used Monovie, not just Acai extract, in the lab and found that it destroyed 100% of Melanoma cells in vitro. That's going to make headlines and have sun worshipers scrambling for this stuff!
If you want some third party info on all of the benefits of Acai berrys go to Barns and Noble and get Breakthroughs in Health, November issue. It's completely independant and loaded with articles explaining the benefits of Acai. You'll see why I'm so excited about this stuff. It's almost to good to be true and the good news just keeps coming the more they study it. And that's why I'm selling it, because it sells itself and its one of those rare things that you can believe in and know that its good for you and will most likely help in many ways. The highest ranking guy in Monavie in Houston is Ron Pruitt and he's Gold Executive level after starting in Feb. of this year. He's making more than $1000.00 a week and has quit his construction job. The top guy in Florida is Brig Hart and he's making more than $90,000 a week and apparently having a blast doing it.

MLM is MLM friend. $90,000 a week? Think about it. You reach a saturation point and thats it. You've been brain washed. Sorry. I'll be waiting for the headlines on the miracle cure. Goji, Ninzi, Noni, all said the same thing. I truely hope you prove me wrong. :)

I appreciate your analysis but I can assure you I am far from brain washed. I agree MLM is MLM but, money can be made at MLM and there's many many examples of successful MLM or Network Marketing businesses. There is a saturation point but, that's not anywhere in the near future. Go ask a random person if they've heard of Acai or Monavie. I don't have any unreal expectations about making a lot of money and I have looked at all those other products before getting involved with this one. If I get my supply for free I'll be happy. Anything else is gravy. I've known people in Amway and Mary Kay who've made a lot of gravy and I think the reports and research are showing this to be a far superior product to those you mentioned. None of them have anywhere near the volume of 3rd party medical support data. Miracle cure? I doubt that. It is a proven fact that antioxidants neutralize free radicals and free radicals cause disease and this is one of the richest sources of antioxidants so anything proven beyond that just more supportive data. And killing cancer cells in a test tube is a far cry from doing it in a human body however, the University of Florida researchers thought it was significant. Obviously I do think you are wrong or I would not be involved with it. The risk here is minimal in terms of money and time. The way I sleep now was well worth the price of admission. My doctor is tracking my blood pressure and cholesterol levels so we'll see if there's any change there. You are right about one thing though, time will tell.

It is just the latest in the MLM gimmick, others will follow. I am waiting on the "fountain of youth in a bottle" scam to crank up and I want in on the ground floor!
Those who get involved in MLM definately have a fever and passion for it, even if they don't get the pink Cadillac. Whether it is this, or copper bracelets, or magnets, or ostriches, or Noni juice, they all seem to fade in time. Good luck to all who give it a go.

I am as skepticial as the next person on these things and its all Snake Oil to me BUT......Some people do get some great results from these things. My girlfriend takes it and sells it. She does seem to be feeling better but dont tell her that cause then she will be on my butt to take it. As far as selling it...well some girls in our office are doing it and the girl who got everyone going on it is pulling in around 3500 per week now. she is coming up to her 1 yr anniv. She said she worked hard the first 5-6 months but she is just crusing after that. they had all these parties to introduce it to everyone.
I dont think its any worse or better than selling made in china things on ebay. If your aggresive and hustle then make some money. Not any different than the old "Mary Kay" stuff your aunt used to sell. I would rather hear about that then someone telling how great Goodwill is...selling our donations to the public for profit....ever seen them at a disaster??? NO but you can sure help them with there inventory at the local store.

Typically to be successful in a MLM environment, you need to have influence over a large group. People with great public visibility are more successful than the average refinery worker because his credibility has already been established. It is a whole lot easier to influence someone when your credibility preceeds you than to try to convince someone to get into something when they know absolutely nothing about who you are!
Remember! It's not what you know, but who you know!

I know this is an old post I was just searching to see what 2coolers were involved in Monavie. My sister got into this about 13 months ago and they are doing very well. I fell out of it after we moved but am starting up again after going to a meeting they are putting together tonight in Spring.
When I first got into they were selling it based on the health benefits but now are going strait with the business side of it. You can make money with this with some effort...just like anything else! There is no way this stuff is not good for you.... I don't think it's going to make you live to a 150 years old but it for sure gives you great antioxidants and more than your servings of fruit!
