Troy Merrill and I had a chance to get out today and do some fishin! We fished from 6:15am to about 10:30am. We fished with top waters in about knee to thigh deep water! We landed 9 trout to 7lbs. We must have missed 15 blow ups between the two of us and had a few trout that were just HUGE get off. It was a great top water bite, and most of the fish came on black super spooks and black and red head top dogs! It was great fishing with Troy! Got to do it again! Going to get a few zzzz's now, since me and a few buds are going out for an overnight full moon trip somewhere wayyyyy west of where we were today!

Tight Lines!!!

I know those flats, that's a great fishing hole, and a great report! You do mean west of the jetties though, east would put you in a little deeper than wading water... ;)

Hey Tim,

Just like big deer you always lose the big ones and get the little ones. :)

I have seen buddies shoot the big deer and have quite a bit of ground shrinkage by the time we found them?
Just giving you a hard time.
How did you all do last night?
