I am using it as we speak. I alternate between seeds and herbal snuff. It has helped a great deal.

I have not tried it. Sounds like you still carry a can and you still pout it in your lip. I am trying to get away from all of that. Actually I did not know there was such a thing. I am going to stay with the mint flavored gum.
Good luck with it.

I have not heard of anyone using it yet but it does have nicotine in it so I have avoided it and used the non nicotine, non tobacco stuff.

I use it, and it takes a little getting used to. I am going to be talking to them about some redesign.

They were handing out free samples of blu whale at the t.u. game in Austin last weekend at the trade booths, it is basically moist tea leaves that are flavored like the reg stuff.

i tried the peach, because it was the first i would throw away anyway, and yep it's peach flavored tea, something to keep tour mouth busy, not much else.

i'm guessing you could go cut open a few pouches of liptons for the same effect

I have tried Smokey Mountain and it was decent. Someone on here said something about Randall's carrying one that was pretty good.

Just remember that Blue Whale DOES contain nicotene. The other products out there do not contain nicotene or tobacco (smokey mountain, back-off, Mint Snuff Brand, etc).

Blue Whale, that is a funny name. Should have named it White Dolphin.

So the consensus is that Blue Whale is no good? I wonder why they can't come up with something that is a truely safe alternative to snuff without it tasking like ****. I'm not so worried about the nicotine, I just don't like all of the cancer causing agents that real snuff contains. The one who develops it will be a millionaire.

update, just tried the natural, quiet a bit better, but still tastes like tea and has alot of "dirt" in it. pretty gritty

I would start with the Smokey Mtn and Bacc off. The first packs good and it is very easy to get used to gutting it. They are adding guarana, ginseng etc.. to it so it is actually good for you. Bacc off is a little chunky so to speak.

backdraft341, this is my second post for you. I turned 42 Nov. 3rd and started dipping when I was 15. Can't remember a day that I did not have cope or skoal in my lip. Showers, s*x (s@x), afternoon naps, you name it, I had a dip. I have 3 children and a month ago I started thinking serious about quiting. PURE LUCK, I found this forum and decided I'd jump in with everyone else. The first ting I do when I get to work is roll call. We are all suffering the same feelings, emotions etc...Sorry for rambling, the day I quit, I threw my spit cups away and QUIT. It's not easy, but it can be done. I have fought, argued and talked down to all family and friends during the first couple of weeks. I guess what I am trying to say is, don't pick up another habit. Get rid of the can, cups in the truck/kitchen/office etc..do not buy a can of fake skoal to carry, that don't help (in my opinion). B strong, you can do it. Good luck.
