Sorry for not checking in yesterday, it was kinda busy. No dip since the 5th. This will make day 6. The meds have mellowed me out so I haven't been jonesen:D

Im really glad to see this section here. And I have to say that I have a newfound respect for anyone who attempts or does manage to quit. I dipped snuff for over 16 years and for the last 10 or so I dipped two cans a day. I finally decided one month ago today that it was time to stop. The first 4-6 days were the hardest for me. I went through a ton of orbits gum. Actually my wife makes fun now because I have an orbits addiction. I felt like **** for those first few days but after that it has really gotten better faster than I thought. I dont even have the craving anymore at all. Sorry for being so long winded but its great to see everyone support each other here. I guarantee you that it will pass and you will feel so much better having given it up. Deano
