okuma reel and Ande rod need feedback

I have bought an okuma Convector CN55L reel has anyone had one and what is your thought on the product. I have it on an ANDE rod Heavy Action model ATCS-5661HR with roller stripper guide & tip. And feedback would be appreciated.

I have a Okuma Cn55 as well, not the levelwind model though. It has been pretty decent casting, especially on a rell that bog. Haven't been able to give it a thurough workout though. Just smaller have taken to it. It's on a medium action rod, #30 class. It performed well, but really want to see how it will handle something that needs a lot of backbone.

I'll give you a tip I got from two different reel repair guys: take those reels aprt and lube them with something like CorrosionX before you get them dunked in saltwater. As I understand it they are prone to corrode if yu don't keep them lubed.

I have done all of mine (4) and I've not had a problem.
