Brazos River

Has anyone fished the Brazos river around Hempstead area. Got a place to put in, its between Hempstead and Sealy area. Was wondering how the Catfishing was in that area.

I fish near Navasota right before the rivers combine. Pretty good fishing. Never fished between Hempstead and Sealy but last weekend, worms and helgamites were working pretty well until they let out the lake water.

We usually fish that area a couple times a year. The area between the 529 Bridge and San Felipe. We usually catch some good cats in the area, but with the river being as low as it is right now fishing and navigation may be tough.
