I Went Out With My Brother In Laws And Watched Them Play Around With There Traxxas 3.3 And Revos 3.3. Well A Man Can Only Watch For So Long. In Yall's Opinion What Would Be The Best To Buy. I Have Some Wants, Though.

I Want Something With The Ez Start Like The Revos And Traxxas.
Also Something That I Can Get Parts For Easily And Cheap. I Dont Think I Would Want To Race Other Than With My Brother In Laws. Also Something That Will Last. But I Want Something Faster Than Theres, Just Cause That Is The Way We Do It. I Want To Buy One Of The Package Deals That Come With Everything Like The Motor And Electronics.

I Was Looking At The Jammin Truggy, But I Don't Like The Way You Have To Start It. I Want The Ez Qick Start Thing, Not Sure On What It Is Called. Help Me Out If You Can.

HPI Hellfire RTR might be a good choice for you, or a 1/8 scale buggy. There are SO many choices, the best thing to do is get a magazine or catolog <sp> and see wich one you like best.

Any price limit? Because you can pretty much go as fast as you want to spend.

It's kind of hard to say......the EZ start is usually for the Monster Trucks. ANY buggy is gonna be faster than the Monster Trucks - well, except for race ready truggies and Revos. Some engines you can get the backplate conversion to do the EZ start, but most buggies are cranked by pullstart or starter box only.

Typically, if you are not going to race and just wanna bash around with your brother in laws, then look at the OFNA's. They have some decent entry level buggies that don't cost a ton of cash and almost every hobby shop carries OFNA parts. Plus, if I'm not mistaken OFNA may have a buggy with an engine that has the easy start crank.

Check them out at www.ofna.com (http://www.ofna.com)!

Money Isn't That Much Of An Option, I Mean I Don't Want To Spend A Grand. Just Want A Good Buggy Or Truggy That I Can Bash With. I Really Like The Jammin Truggy, But I Want The Quick Start, Real Bad. How Hard And Expensive Is The Conversion Kit To Make It To The Quick Start?

It Seems Like The Few Hobby Shops I Went To Caryy Mainly Parts For The Traxxas And Few Parts For Anything Else.

There's a conversion called Tiger Drive (I think) that allows you to use a roto start like system. But, thte real truth is those EZ start systems are a PITA. Gears strip, the drill can go dead, etc after awhile. Anybody here that runs nitro will tell you that eventually you get to the point where a starter box is the only way to go. If I were looking for a 1/8 buggy, I'd look for an OFNA Hyper 7 PCR. Very good buggy, and if you decide you want to race it will be very competitive. They made a PCR package that had a non-pull start engine and came with a bump box, radio, etc. ready to run, just add fuel, ignitor, and batteries. That version was about $500 to $550 as I recall. Ofna recently came out with the Hyper 8, so you may find a good deal on the Hyper 7. Don't worry, parts for that car will be available for a long time, they sold a bunch of them.

Here ya go. You can go to Tower's website to see a pic, but they don't have it in stock anymore. Check around with the LHS, someone may have it in stock. If not, they can probably still order it.

Yeah, there was a version of the PCR that came with a non-pull engine, but I think it was the same part number and just kind of hit or miss which one you got. But, since it comes with a bump box, you can just yank out the PS assembly, seal the housing and go.

No, I Don't Want The Pull Start. I Want The Quick Start Like The Traxxas And Revo Has. The Little Black Box With The 4 Prongs And The Battery. You Put It In The Top Rear Of The Car. Thats The Quick Start That I Am Wanting.

Ok, let's try this again. If you want the EZ start, far as I know your options are the Traxxas Revo, T-maxx, and Jato. If you want another car and you want a roto start, then you need to look into the Tiger Drive.
