i pulled the trigger the other day and bought my first real fly rig and trashed the marlborro special. its really an offshore rig but i used it saturday night at the dike and caught a few specks on clousers. anyway its a 10wt. temple fork rod with a ross cla 6 reel. i cant wait to get it into the blue water. a special thanks goes out to capt. Chris Phillips and Andy Packmore at FTU for getting me lined up.
