Hey gang how's everyone.....this ole fisher is tired but I wanted to put a post on here for y'all. I put a post on shadslinger and there's a couple of pic's on there also....but generally I have been limiting out...for two people out by walker's lake...and like I said it would be like pulling teeth trying go give directions there. I kinda go off stumps sticking out of the water to find the drop off then mark that then find the fish.....from the marker i know where I need to be....Tuesday I set the marker just right and it was back and forth by the marker. Oh and i am not a marker hog you can troll right by my marker with me....i just use them to keep my bearings. TRA owns the lake. Stumps...markers.... I use them all.....
well I had a group with me...and generally they loved it. Even when the capt.(me) lost it because someone hung up in the marker....or tangled.......or...had to refresh the lake. We generally had a boat load of thrown down lures...(experimenting)....empty soda cans..... wet towels.......and bait well full of fish.
I just knew the white bass where going to school but it never happened...I wanna say we fished walker's lake about 8 or 9 am till....1 or 2 pm. I know Tuesday we headed out to walker's lake about 6 pm and the water was so rough I couldn't find my spot...plus monsoon's make it hard to troll. The other days that lake was smooth all over...nice trolling water. Today...Wed. we fish walkers at 2 till 6 pm and picked up a bunch....thats why i am tired...
generally in 3 day we have caught 150 fish. guess who's capt. fish cleaner....i have it down to a scienitic art. I was thinking of being a white bass guide..but I d probably make more money cleaning fish. Capt Ken's Fish Cleaning Service....you catch I cut....ha ha .my fingers are tore up from fish...... love it.
Oh did I mention I think this is the biggest white bass I ve ever caught...big dude...measured what ....16 1/2 inches and weighed just under 2 lbs. I think thats him in this one pic. yea look at the capt and his big fish....the crew...and the fish.
