Jeanne's eye near Lakeland

When I woke up this morning my sons told me Jeanne's eye was right near Lakeland where my son, his wife, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren live.
Of course we called Lakeland right away. They were fine and riding the storm through with no problems. Praise God!

in Miami, even so far from the eye. Weather not too bad, rainy on and off. But those rain bands extend all the way into the Keys, and we're still having gusts that feel like up to 40 or 50 mph.

My better half...Fishin'Lady is leaving on a trip to Atlanta at 3pm today. Hope they have safe travel and don't see "eye to eye" with Jeanne. No doubt they will see some showers & wind on I-85 south.
